The University of Florida (UF), Institute of Food and Agricultural Sciences (IFAS), is looking for a post-doctoral research associate to work on bioenergy project at the Everglades Research and Education Center (EREC), Belle Glade, Florida. The project funded by the Department of Energy (DOE) aims to develop an energycane feedstock production system that utilizes fugitive nitrogen and phosphorus from commodity croplands and improves farm/rural economics, restores/protects the integrity of our very valuable, yet limited land and water resources, to make bioenergy feedstock production economically and environmentally sustainable.
